Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Oh My Squat Gym! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our facilities, services, and membership. By becoming a member or using our gym, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Membership Agreement

1.1 Eligibility:  

Membership is open to individuals aged 16 and over. Minors (ages 16-17) must have parental or guardian consent to join and may be subject to restricted access hours. 

1.2 Membership Types:

We offer various membership options, including monthly, annual, and day passes. Membership details, including fees, access rights, and terms, are outlined at the time of sign-up.

1.3 Membership Fees:

All membership fees must be paid in advance. For monthly memberships, fees are due on the same date each month. Late payments may result in suspension of membership until payment is made.

1.4 Cancellation: 

Members may cancel their membership in accordance with the cancellation policy specific to their membership type. Cancellations must be made in writing or via the member app. Cancellations of memberships that are still with contracted period will be required to pay full membership cost - failure to do so may result in legal action.

1.5 Refunds: 

Refunds are generally not provided, except in circumstances outlined in our Refund Policy or as required by law.

2. Gym Rules and Etiquette

2.1 Opening Hours:

Oh My Squat is open 24/7 for members. Staffed hours may vary. Use of the gym during unstaffed times are at members own risk.

2.2 Access:

Members must use their pin number or app to enter the gym. Sharing access codes or allowing non-members to enter the gym is strictly prohibited and may result in membership termination.

2.3 Conduct:

Members are expected to behave respectfully towards others and to use the equipment safely and appropriately. Harassment, intimidation, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in membership termination. Any damage to Oh My Squat facilities resulting from misuse shall be the financial responsibility of the member, who will be required to cover the cost of repairs or replacements. 

2.4 Cleanliness:

Members must wipe down equipment after use and return weights to their designated areas - failure to do this may result in membership termination. Please dispose of any waste in the provided bins.

2.5 Dress Code:  

Appropriate gym attire and footwear must be worn at all times. Open-toed shoes, jeans, and other non-athletic clothing are not permitted.

3. Health and Safety

3.1 Medical Conditions:

Members should consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program. By using our facilities, you confirm that you are physically and medically fit to engage in physical activities.

3.2 Injuries:

Oh My Squat is not liable for any injuries sustained while using the gym, except in cases of gross negligence on our part. Members are encouraged to use equipment correctly and seek assistance from staff when needed.

3.3 Emergency Situations: 

In the event of an emergency, members should follow posted procedures and use the emergency contacts provided within the gym.

4 Personal Belongings:

Oh My Squat is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

4.1 Valuables:

Members are advised not to bring valuables to the gym. We are not responsible for any personal property lost or damaged on our premises.

5. Cancellations:

It is against our policy to cancel your Direct Debit mandate when still in contracted membership period. 

Remainder of full membership value will be required to leave contract early.

6. Data Protection

6.1 Personal Data:

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the policy.

6.2 CCTV:  

For the safety and security of our members and staff, our premises are monitored by CCTV. Footage is stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel.

7. Changes to Terms

Oh My Squat reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately. Continued use of the gym after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
